Mount Timp is a piece of iris history, with a soft cream-white ground and rosy lavender-red plicata markings that give the flower a warm, almost pink appearance from a distance. About 30–32″ (76–81 cm), Early bloom with a notably long bloom period. The standards are creamy white, while the falls carry the same light ground heavily patterned with rosy red to lavender-red veining and edging. The large, ruffled flowers were noted by Tell Muhlestein for their heavy substance and sweet fragrance. Parentage: October Opera × Tiffany. (Tell Muhlestein, 1945).
