Blatant makes no attempt to be subtle, pairing clear yellow standards with rich magenta-purple falls. 36″ (91 cm), Early Midseason to Late Midseason bloom with rebloom reported. The standards are a clear canary yellow, while the falls blend vivid magenta and deep beet-purple with a lighter edge softly touched with old gold. Heavier markings near the throat add additional contrast, complemented by golden-yellow beards. Ruffled blooms and a pronounced musky fragrance complete the flower. Parentage: Spirit of Fiji × Broadway. (Monty Byers, 1989).
