Soft yellow hues demonstrate that this iris has been perfectly named! Lightly Buttered has a hint of light pink in its standards that blend to light butter yellow toward the edge.  The falls are light chartreuse with a paler blended edge.  The beard is a dark tangerine in the throat, moving to white at the ends.  Lightly Buttered stands 38” tall and blooms very late in the season.
