A beautiful dark, striking iris! Film Noir has almost blackish purple standards with faint cream speckling. The falls are slightly warmer with a dotted edge merging into the yellow ground. Film Noir has inconspicuous brown to mustard beards. It definitely stands out in the garden! Film Noir is a medium late bloomer, and grows to 37” tall. Honorable Mention, 2024. (Keppel, 2022)
