Stunningly blue, Yacquina Blue (1992, Schreiner) is one of our very favorites here at Crafton Hills.  It is named after Oregon’s Yaquina Bay.  It has very large flowers approaching 4  inches wide, which have an exuberance of ruffles.  This iris is sure to causes visitors to exclaim “Oh my!”  It is  37″ tall, and a mid-season bloomer.  May have a slight fragrance.
