Angelus is a lovely example of what iris breeders were working toward in the 1930s—a fuller, softer pink with broad petals and substantial flowers. About 34″ (86 cm), Midseason to Late bloom. The standards are a fresh light pink, while the falls continue the pink coloring with a subtle lavender sheen just below the beard. Delicate lemon-yellow tones appear through the center and at the base of the petals, complemented by a bright lemon beard.
