Our Online Shop

All orders for Crafton Hills Iris Farm, LLC are placed directly through our website store. In a typical year, we open our online shop to the general public on January 8, once we have completed our inventory and updated the website. However, due to our farm relocation in summer 2025, the 2026 ordering season will open toward the end of March, 2026.

Our inventory is updated annually, with many varieties offered in consecutive years and new introductions added as they become ready. Quantities offered are limited, and some cultivars sell out quickly, but we do our best to as many irises as we can.

We are happy to accept emailed orders when needed, though the online system remains the easiest and fastest option for customers. At checkout, you may pay by credit card or PayPal. Please note: credit card payments are processed at the time your order is placed.

Opening announcements and seasonal updates will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages—please follow us there for the latest information.

What You Can Expect to Receive

By ordering from this site, you are purchasing iris rhizomes for delivery in summer. Prices quoted are for one iris rhizome cleaned, trimmed, bleached, labeled, and ready to plant. We have held a California Nursery Stock Certificate (CNSC) and now hold a Nevada Nursery Stock license. our inventory is inspected per Nevada agricultural guidelines. 

When You Will Receive Your Order

Customers select their desired summer shipping timeframe during the purchasing check-out process. For the 2026 season, shipping windows to select from are:

  • July 20, 2026

  • July 27, 2026

Our rhizome inventory is assigned to orders on a first-paid basis, regardless of shipping window. Orders are freshly dug, cleaned, trimmed, disinfected, and packed for shipping. Once it is packed your iris rhizomes reach you within 3-7 business days via USPS. 

Substitutions & Limited Stock

Most of our rhizomes are limited in stock, so place your order early! We have established an inventory control on this website which helps to manage our sales. However, Mother Nature can be fickle, and sometimes our estimates are just wrong! If you have ordered a variety that can’t be delivered, we will provide a refund. 

Our Guarantee

Crafton Hills Iris Farm, LLC guarantees that all rhizomes shipped are true to name, state-inspected, and delivered in healthy, viable condition suitable for planting. Orders will be shipped according to the customer-selected shipping period at checkout. In the event that a variety cannot be divided at the expected time, Crafton Hills Iris Farm reserves the right to split-ship the order at no additional cost to the customer in order to maintain product quality.

Specialty offerings, including boxed selections or “grab bags,” are guaranteed up to the amount originally paid by the customer. Varieties that are no longer available will be clearly identified as sold out on our website.

If a rhizome fails within one month of delivery, the customer must notify Crafton Hills Iris Farm no later than October 15 of the delivery year. Eligible replacements will be provided the following season, contingent upon availability. If the specific variety is unavailable, the customer may elect either (a) a full refund of the purchase price, or (b) substitution with another variety of equal or greater value.

What We Can’t Guarantee

Crafton Hills Iris Farm cannot guarantee outcomes affected by environmental or cultural conditions beyond our control. Weather, soil quality, drainage, watering practices, pests, and other natural variables may influence plant performance and are the responsibility of the customer.

To support successful growth, rhizomes should be planted upon arrival, at the proper depth, in well-draining soil, and in accordance with established iris cultivation practices. Losses occurring over winter or summer due to severe weather, pest damage, improper planting, or other external factors are not covered under our guarantee.

Returns

Returns are not practical. If there is a problem when you receive your order, contact us immediately. 

Cancellations

A cancellation fee of $30 or 10% of the order total (whichever is greater) will be applied to any cancelled order.
Please note that orders cannot be cancelled after May 1 of the ordering year.
