Early Access Window
From March 24 through March 26, 2026 subscribers to The Crafton Hills Iris Journal will receive exclusive early access before the store opens to the public on March 27, 2026.
Because of our recent relocation to Gardnerville, Nevada, inventory this season will be significantly reduced as we work to establish and rebuild our iris clumps. Early access gives subscribers the best opportunity to secure the varieties they’ve been watching and waiting for.
How Early Access Works
1. Subscribe to The Crafton Hills Iris Journal by March 19
Early access is available only to confirmed subscribers.
2. Watch Your Email on March 20
Subscribers will receive a special access code by email on March 20 or 21.
3. Enter the Access Code anytime between March 24-26
Beginning at 7:00 AM PST on March 24, you’ll be able to enter the code on the storefront of our website.
Once entered, the online store will unlock and you may shop during the early access window.
4. Shop March 24-26
During this window only subscribers with the code may access the store.
5. Public Opening – March 27
Timing Details
• The access code becomes active at 7:00 AM PST on March 24, 2026.
• Inventory may be visible prior to March 24, but all items will be listed as “sold out“. A few days before the early access window opens, the store will move behind a locked screen where the access code will be required.
• If you visit the store before 7:00 AM PST, the code will not work.
We recommend visiting shortly after 7:00 AM PST for the best selection.
Shipping & Pick-Up Information
• All rhizomes will ship in late July 2026.
• Local pick-up will be available in Gardnerville, Nevada (specific dates will be provided emailed after mid-July).
Early Access FAQ
Who qualifies for early access?
Early access is available exclusively to confirmed subscribers of the Crafton Hills Iris Journal who are subscribed prior t0 March 20 when the email containing the access code is sent out.
When does early access begin?
The code becomes active at 7:00 AM Pacific Time on March 24, 2026. General public access begins March 27.
I entered the code and don’t see products. What should I do?
If you are visiting before 7:00 AM PST, inventory will not yet be visible. Inventory will begin loading onto the site in the early morning hours of March 24.
Is the access code transferable?
The code is intended for subscribers only. Please do not share it publicly.
Are items reserved once they are in my cart?
Items are not reserved until checkout is completed.
Why is inventory lower this year?
Because of our move to Gardnerville, we are in a rebuilding year. As clumps establish, quantities available for sale will be reduced.
When will my order ship?
All rhizomes will ship in late July 2026.
Is local pick-up available?
Yes. Pick-up in Gardnerville will be scheduled after ordering.
