A nice, dark SDB iris! It is garnet lake red, with a darker burgundy area at the hafts and under the beard. The beards are blue violet tipped with bronze. It stands 12 inches and blooms early in the season. (J. Ritchie, 2013). Photo from Iris Encyclopedia/Delane Langton.
