Victoria Falls

This fresh light blue self’s ruffled petals seem to flow, which gives Victoria Falls it’s name. In the center of each light blue fall is a “signal patch” of white, highlighting the flower’s clean, white beards. This iris will have three main branches and two spurs which often produce up to 14 flowers! Another bonus of this lovely blue Iris is the tendency to bloom again in the fall. Has a sweet fragrance. (Schreiner, 1977) Honorable Mention 1978, Award of Merit 1980, Dykes Medal 1984
