This historic iris, Raspberry Ribbon has a bright rose-violet color whose boldness catches the eye of anyone in the garden.  The rose-violet and the white colors provide an excellent contrast, and to top it off, there is a bright orange beard!  This iris is not very common – and very few sell it. (R. Schreiner, 1951) It is 34″ tall, mid-bloom, and is considered an early plicata. Awards: Honorable Mention, 1951, Award of Merit, 1955.
